IMO, holding people accountable and doing the what is right is almost always better in the long-run and minimizes the chances of even bigger problems down the road.
But I suppose that is the point of the discussion -- what is right? And where do these student-athletes fit in assuming the charges of mistreatment and abuse are accurate?
Are they at least owed a sincere apology and a small amount of respect and decency? Even that small gesture might take the edge off the frustration and anger that has built to the point of eruption among the parents of these players.
